William Saintilus earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 2009 and his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University in 2013. As a skilled and experienced litigator, he has handled a wide range of complex civil cases, including general liability, premises liability, employment discrimination, property insurance and catastrophic injuries.
During law school, Mr. Saintilus broadened his global perspective by studying abroad in Kyoto, Japan, where he immersed himself in Japanese culture. He also gained valuable legal experience through internships with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Recognized for his leadership and contributions to the legal profession, Mr. Saintilus was named one of South Florida’s 40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow in 2016, honored by The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in 2017, and received the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce YoPro 20 Under 40 award in 2023.
He is an active member of the legal community, having participated in various voluntary bar and professional associations, including the T.J. Reddick Bar Association, Caribbean Bar Association, Wilkie D. Ferguson Bar Association, Haitian Lawyers Association, Broward County Bar Association, and Dade County Bar Association. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Florida.
